I. Messiah Was To Be Born In Bethlehem

Hebrew Scripture Prophecy:

"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times." - Mikhah/Micah 5:2  


New Covenant Fulfillment: Matit'yah ha-Levi/Matthew 2:1-6; Ur/Luke 2:1-20.

II. Messiah Was To Be Born Of A Virgin

Hebrew Scripture Prophecy:

"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." - Yesha'yah/Isaiah 7:14

V. Messiah Was To Be Rejected By His Own People

VII. Messiah Was To Be Tried And Condemned

"By oppression and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken." - Yesha'yah/Isaiah 53:8

VIII. Messiah Was To Be Silent Before His Accusers

IX. Messiah Was To Be Smitten And Spat Upon By His Enemies

"Marshal your troops, O city of troops, for a siege is laid against us. They will strike Israel's ruler on the cheek with a rod." - Mikhah/Micah 5:1 



"I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting." - Yesha'yah/Isaiah 50:6

XI. Messiah Was To Die By Crucifixion

"I am poured out like water, and all my bones aer out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted away within me. Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones; people stare and gloat over me." - T'hillim/Psalm 22:14, 16,17

XII. Messiah Was To Suffer With Transgressors And Pray For His Enemies

Hebrew Scripture Prophecy:

"Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." - Yesha'yah/Isaiah 53:12

XIV. They Were To Cast Lots For Messiah's Garments

Hebrew Scripture Prophecy:

XV. Messiah's Bone Were Not To Be Broken

"It must be eaten inside one house; take none of the meat outside the house. Do not break any of the bones." - Shemot/Exodus 12:46

XVI. Messiah Was To Die As An Offering For Sin
Hebrew Scripture Prophecy:

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all."


"By oppression and judgement he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken. Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and thought the Lord makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of (life) and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors.
