The Bricks Have Fallen But The Stones Have Not
by PJ

PJPA2.GIFToday we hear a lot of noise regarding the United States of America in relationship to Yesha'yahu / Isaiah 9:10. "The bricks have fallen, but we will build [all the better] with hewn stones; the sycamores have been cut down, but we will put [costlier] cedars in their place."(Amplified Bible) Rabbi Jonathan Cahn's book, "The Harbinger" has opened up a lot of interest in what is happening spiritually to the USA.  I suggest if you haven't read this book that you purchase it and read it.  It's excellent.  But the story doesn't end with just the one side of the event that Rabbi Cahn shares. There's the other side of the coin so-to-speak.

The bricks may have fallen but the stones have not, nor shall they. That's why, although Israel was conquered and lead into captivity, Judah was spared and continued on and although being exiled for a time, is alive and well even this very day. Hence the need to understand the difference between bricks and unhewn stones from G-d's perspective.

Bricks are man-made stones. They are uniform, all the same. They are made with a tool. According to Sh'mot / Exodus 20:24-25, "An altar of earth you shall make to Me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen. In every place where I record My name and cause it to be remembered I will come to you and bless you. And if you will make Me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone, for if you lift up a tool upon it you have polluted it." The word "tool" is translated correctly as the word "sword." A sword is used to shorten life. It is an instrument of death. While an altar is used to lengthen life by the work of atonement.

G-d's perception of His people is that they are as stones creating an altar upon which they make sacrificial offerings to Him so that He may inhabit and meet them. It's a connecting place to the King and as one brushes the Divine, the prophetic is released.

In Malachim Alef / 1 Kings 18:30-32 stones have relationship to Israel. "Then Elijah said to all the people, Come near to me. And all the people came near him. And he repaired the [old] altar of the Lord that had been broken down [by Jezebel]. Then Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord came, saying, Israel shall be your name. And with the stones Elijah built an altar in the name [and self-revelation] of the Lord. He made a trench about the altar as great as would contain two measures of seed."

In Kefa Alef / 1 Peter 2:4-5 the Church is built of living stones for offering spiritual sacrifices of praise. "Come to Him [then, to that] Living Stone which men tried and threw away, but which is chosen [and] precious in God's sight. [Come] and, like living stones, be yourselves built [into] a spiritual house, for a holy (dedicated, consecrated) priesthood, to offer up (those) spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ."

Bricks are representative of the kingdom set up by the god of bricks, the very source of death and destruction. Stones cut without human hands represent the Kingdom set up by G-d Himself, the very Source of Life.

The bricks are falling.....yes indeed. The reason they are falling is because they have no life within them. There is no relationship to the King of the Universe within them and what they represent. Man, with all his achievement, with all his science, with all his creating and enslaving others through the sword is still no match for the King of Glory. The spiritual base upon which the god of bricks has built is as quicksand and the tower of bricks is falling! Not only in the USA but worldwide!

The living stones, however, are not falling, nor shall they. They are earthen altars still offering spiritual sacrifices of praise to the Most High G-d and that same G-d is inhabiting their praise. The living stones are alive and strong and G-d is in their midst. They are free from enslavement and they are based upon the Rock of Ages, the Foundation that never shall be moved.

We invite you to join us and our G-d as we celebrate with joy the feast of Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah. Come and see that the L-rd is good and take your place as a living stone in the sanctuary of praise at the time of great celebration. Chag sameach!
