Jesus Blesses The Children

The parents, grandparents or caregivers brought the children to Jesus so that He could touch and bless them. They were concerned mostly about their souls. That should be the principle care of all parents; that it be well with their children's souls. They knew that Jesus could reach their children's hearts when no one else could. For a child to feel secure all they need is a gentle touch and a kind word from someone who cares. When a child believes they will trust.

Jesus was displeased with the disciples; He cautioned them not to despise the little children. Jesus ordered the disciples to let the children be brought to Him. Suffer little children to come to Me, to offer up their needs and to receive instructions from Me. The little children are welcomed any time to the throne of grace to bring their praises and petitions.

We must receive the kingdom of God as a little child. Children depend upon their parents for wisdom and care and what they provide for them. Jesus received the children, and gave them what was desired. If we bring our children in a right manner to the Lord Jesus Christ, He will take them up. He will put His hands upon them; bestowing His Spirit upon them.
