Love Righteousness, Hate Lawlessness

G-d will let us do all kinds of things we should not do. If He did not, we would be robots or captives. He has given us a free will to make choices which allow us to obey Him and follow His ways or not. If we don't go to Him in prayer and allow Him to lead us by His Spirit, we will make many mistakes. And if we hear His counsel and refuse it, we move into open rebellion.
Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defines "rebellion" : opposition to one in authority or dominance; a : open, armed, and usually unsuccessful defiance of or resistance to an established government b : an instance of such defiance or resistance.
In order to not be rebellious, we have to keep our flesh under subjection because it is the nature of the flesh to rebel against the things of G-d. That's why the world is in the shape it's in today. Men have openly rebelled against the Word of G-d by following the dictates of their flesh.
How, you may wonder, is the world rebelling against G-d?
* By serving other gods.
* By provoking G-d.
* By tempting Moshiach.
* By vexing the Ruach HaKodesh.
When men don't believe the Word of G-d and don't obey His commandments they operate in unbelief and rebel against Him. When they reject G-d, they reject His authority and government and when He does not reign over them, they also do not have His protection.
When men reject G-d's government, they revolt from Him. In turn this leads them to despise His counsels and laws. Suddenly they become distrustful of His power and begin to speak against Him and refuse to listen to Him.
When they no longer listen to Him, they leave Him. Then they find they are against those who follow Him and those appointed by Him. They depart from His precepts and His worship. Suddenly they are at war with Him and His people while walking after their own ways which are miserable and wretched at best. It's a process of rebellion.
If this process sounds familiar it's because this is precisely what 1/3 of the angels in heaven did when they rebelled against G-d. This rebellion lead by Lucifer wound up becoming a war in the heavenlies. The same rebellion and lawlessness is at work today.
Rebellion often travels with stubbornness, injustice, corruption and contempt of G-d. And those who are guilty of it usually practice arrogance and hypocrisy to try to hide their sin. The rebellious often exalt themselves.
The rebellious are annoyed by G-d's unceasing admonitions to them to return to Him. Eventually they walk into financial hardship because they have moved into a land of barrenness that does not produce blessing. With lack of knowledge and lack of understanding they find themselves handed into the hands of their enemies and eventually wind up with G-d as their enemy.
There is only one way out of rebellion and it is by confession of sin, affliction of soul, and receiving forgiveness. It requires true teshuva (repentance) and a change of one's ways.
Today, it is vitally important that the people of the world understand that there are many ung-dly leaders simply because of the process of rebellion against G-d. Shmu'el Aleph / 1 Samuel 15:23 AMP says, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim (household good luck images). Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king."
If you believe G-d cannot reject and remove kings, I suggest you look at G-d's Word again. If you don't know if you are operating in rebellion, I suggest you look at G-d's Word again. We haven't even kept the commandment of love as G-d's people yet.
If you are called by His Name, that means if you belong to G-d, you have something you must do to stay in
obedience to Him. We are to believe and obey His Word, His Counsel, His Commands. Davari Hayamim Bet / 2 Chronicles 7:14 AMP says, "If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land." It is time to stop being rebellious and do this.
If you study the process of rebellion, you can clearly see its work on this earth in our day. You can see it in the governments, the ecology, the economy, etc. It's even in religion! There is only one way out and that is to do things G-d's way. We must love Righteousness and hate lawlessness
I urge you to start with yourself. Reliance upon a government to bring change is flawed because change begins individually. It's time to humble ourselves and realize we do not know nor have the answers. It's time to pray and seek G-d with all our hearts and it's time to obey Him. With a heart change in us, He will hear our prayers and He will forgive and He will heal our land.
