Yeshua's Grace by PJ
I was at a sidewalk cafe in an office park during the holidays when a couple of ladies who worked in a telecommunications firm sat down for lunch. I was sitting there minding my own business conversing with the L-rd quietly but these ladies were loud and I couldn't help but overhear their conversation.
As they conversed they began to talk about various clients. They tried to outdo one another with their "monster client" stories and the problems that they had encountered that day. The longer the conversation continued, the worse the stories became.
I asked the L-rd, "Don't they realize they are gossipping?" "Don't they realize they are speaking evil?"
As I turned to look at them, I saw them all dressed up in their holiday clothing. Between bites of food they continued to speak about their clients and what they hated about their co-workers peppered with a few sentences of "Are you ready for Christmas?"
What those women never realized was Yeshua was there that day. On a day, they whom professed to know all about Yeshua's birth, knew nothing about Him. If they had, they'd have not been doing what they were doing. They broke every commandment of love in Brit Chadesh and several of the 10 commandments of the Torah. Yeshua and I sat there and counted them together. In fact, Yeshua showed me some they broke that I didn't notice and explained how they did so. It made me realize how much more dangerous sin really is than we normally consider.
I was very appalled at what I heard and saw from those ladies and I fully expected Yeshua to pronounce some great judgment but instead Yeshua showed me myself a few years ago. Yeshua's grace...
P'yilut Hashaliachim / Acts 20:24 AMP "But none of these things move me; neither do I esteem my life dear to myself, if only I may finish my course with joy and the ministry which I have obtained (which was entrusted to me by) the Lord Jesus, faithfully to attest to the good news (Gospel) of God's grace (His unmerited favor, spiritual blessing and mercy)."
