Tracing The Bad Seed

(Yochanan-Makabi / Mark 4:3-25 AMP) "Give attention to this! Behold a sower went out to sow. And as he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.Other seed (of the same kind) fell on ground full of rocks, where it had not much soil; and at once is sprang up, because it had no depth of soil. And when the sun came up, it was scorched, and because it had not taken root, it withered away. Other seed (of the same kind) fell among thorn plants, and the thistles grew and pressed together and utterly choked and suffocated it, and it yielded no grain. And other seed (of the same kind) fell into good (well-adapted) soil and brought forth grain, growing up and increasing, yielded up to thirty times as much, and sixty times as much, and even a hundred times as much as had been sown. And He said, He who has ears to hear, let him be hearing (and let him consider, and comprehend).

And as soon as He was alone, those who were around Him, with the Twelve (apostles), began to ask Him about the parables. And He said to them, To you has been entrusted the mystery of the Kingdom of God (that is, the secret counsels of God which are hidden from the ungodly); but for those outside (of our circle) everything becomes a parable, In order that they may (indeed) look and look but not see and perceive, and may hear and hear but not grasp and comprehend, lest haply they should turn again, and it (their willful rejection of the truth) should be forgiven them. And He said to them, Do you not discern and understand this parable? How then is it possible for you to discern and understand all the parables?

The sower sows the Word. The ones along the path are those who have the Word sown (in their hearts), but when they hear, Satan comes at once and (by force) takes away the message which is sown in them. And in the same way the ones sown upon stony ground are those who, when they hear the Word, at once receive and accept and welcome it with joy; And they have no real root in themselves, and so they endure for a little while; then when trouble or persecution arises on account of the Word, they immediately are offended (become displeased, indignant, resentful) and they stumble and fall away. And the ones sown among the thorns are others who hear the Word; Then the cares and anxieties of the world and distractions of the age, and the pleasure and delight and false glamour and deceitfulness of riches, and the craving and passionate desire for other things creep in and choke and suffocate the Word, and it becomes fruitless.

And those sown on the good (well-adapted) soil are the ones who hear the Word and receive and accept and welcome it and bear fruit -- some thirty times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much, and some (even) a hundred times as much.And He said to them, Is the lamp brought in to be put under a peck measure or under a bed, and not (to be put) on the lampstand? (Things are hidden temporarilyonly as a means to revelation.) For there is nothing hidden except to be revealed, nor is anything (temporarily) kept secret except in order that it may be made known. If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him perceive and comprehend.

And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure (of thought and study) you give (to the truth you hear) will be the measure (of virtue and knowledge) that comes back to you -- and more (besides) will be given to you who hear.For to him who has will more be given; and from him who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away (by force)."

This same story is told again in Matit'yah ha-Levi / Matthew 13. However, Yeshua gave another enlightening parable starting in Matit'yah ha-Levi / Matthew 13:24-30 AMP; "Another parable He set forth before them, saying, "The Kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel (weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way. So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the darnel (weeds) appeared also.

And the servants of the owner came to him and said, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have darnel shoots in it? He replied to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and weed them out? But he said, No, lest in gathering the wild wheat (weeds resembling wheat), you root up the (true) wheat along with it. Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will say to the reapers, Gather the darnel first and bind it in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my granary."

In V'yakra/Leviticus 19:19 AMP, G-d said, "You shall keep My statutes. You shall not let your domestic animals breed with a different kind (of animal); you shall not sow your field with mixed seed, neither wear a garment of linen mixed with wool."

Now the fun part....you're gonna love this.

Let's go back to the very beginning for surely the L-rd said in the Book of Yesha'yah / Isaiah that He has spoken the end since the beginning.

In B'resheet/Genesis 3 we see the fall of man to the temptation of the serpent. G-d had sown good seed into the ground and immediately the serpent came along and sowed bad seed. And in B'resheet/Genesis 3:15 AMP G-d tells the end result of this deed. "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel."

G-d's Word is His seed. Anything outside of G-d's Word is ha`satan's seed. Since B'resheet/Genesis 3:15, ha`satan has been trying to defile G-d's word and trying to undo the end result. I submit to you that ha`satan thought "What if I turn tables and crush the seed of the woman first?"

The first story after this event is the story of Cain and Abel. Cain was the firstborn. Immediately ha`satan began sowing his seed. Both Cain and Abel knew first generation of the events that happened in Gan Eden/the Garden of Eden. Both had the same information. Yet in B'resheet/Genesis 4:2 we see Abel as a keeper of sheep and Cain as a tiller of the ground. In B'resheet/Genesis 4:3 we see Cain bring an offering to the L-rd of the fruit of the ground. What was wrong with this offering? (It was not the first fruit.) In B'resheet/Genesis 4:4 we see Abel brought an offering of the firstborn (first fruit) of his flock. We see immediately that Cain and Abel have different seed. And what did Cain do? He CRUSHED the head of his brother, Abel, and slew him.

ha`satan since the beginning has been sowing his seed trying to undo the prophecy of B'resheet/Genesis 3. He has been trying to crush the seed of the woman.

In B'resheet/Genesis 25 we see it again in the story of Isaac and Rebecca. It started in the womb of Rebecca in B'resheet/Genesis 25:22. The two children were struggling within her. Why? To be the firstborn. Jacob's name means "Hand on heel." Look at his name in Hebrew very carefully. Could it possibly be that Jacob was trying to prevent his head from being crushed in the womb? We see Esau become the firstborn and because of bad seed from ha`satan he sells his birthright for a meal. The thought that popped into Esau's head that his birthright was of no use didn't just come out of nowhere. It was a bad seed sown into his thinking by ha`satan. (This is why the Word commands us to take every thought captive. What we think has a direct bearing on what we do.) And to this day we see the seed of ha`satan in Esau try to crush the seed of Jacob.

We see this today. The seed of ha`satan which are the words outside the Word of G-d, the doubt, the unbelief of G-d's Word, and the attempted crushing of those carrying the good seed. Why? Because ha`satan is STILL trying to undo the prophecy of B'resheet/Genesis 3.

When Yeshua came, ha`satan didn't know who He was. I can prove this but it's too lengthy to go into right now. He only saw Yeshua as a good man, a prophet, that carried good seed and ha`satan's intent was to sow doubt and unbelief and to crush Yeshua.

All people carrying good seed are in ha`satan's way. And it will happen again. Hagilu Natan Elohim / Revelation 12 shows that ha`satan will again go to war with the remnant of those carrying the good seed during the tribulation.

Now G-d did something interesting in regard to Cain. So let's look at Cain again a moment. G-d placed a mark upon the carrier of bad seed. So we need to study the characteristics of Cain.

He was the first murderer, he was the first liar, he was the first robber, he was cursed, he was a nomad, and his seed shows more characteristics.....Lamech brought in bigamy, Tubal-Cain brought in the first weapons, and Lamech continued the murdering. These are spiritual issues. All outside the commandments of the Word of G-d. Is it any wonder that lying, murdering, stealing, adultery, not loving G-d are addressed in the commandments given by G-d to Moshe at Mt. Sinai? Why? To keep the seed pure.

Today we live in a world that is the result of mixed seed of G-d and ha`satan. It grows together side-by-side. Wheat and darnel. But as we near the time of the rapture....the bundles are being formed. People are being forced to choose a side these days in case you haven't noticed. Greater numbers of sinners are banding together trying to crush those carrying the good seed. This MUST happen to burn the bad seed and to bring the good seed into G-d's granary. We are being separated in the heavenly harvest procedure.

Every time you have a temptation, evil thought, bad day....keep before you the knowledge that it is the bad seed being sown and toss it out. When you hear the Word of the L-rd, remember that the enemy comes immediately trying to sow problems so that it cannot take root. Hang onto the Word you hear. Immerse yourself in it.

I pray that you will study this closely and that G-d will reveal to you the truth of this as you study.
