 People, in general, are on a search for happiness. Some think it comes with possessions. Some think it comes with professions. Some think it comes with fame. In fact, everyone has their own definition of contentment, which is happiness with one's situation or lot in life.

Have you ever met a person who is truly content with life? I will tell you that if you have, it's because that person is in Yeshua. There is no true contentment in life outside of Him.

Being satisfied with one's life on a continual basis is something that, without the King of the Universe, is impossible to maintain for long. Why? Because there's an adversary who is out to kill, steal and destroy.

ha'satan will always find a way to tell people what they are missing according to the world system and attempt to stir up discontentment. But is what he says really the truth? Is the world system really the model of great contentment?

If the world system could truly provide happiness for men in their situations and lots in life, couldn't we find even one example of pure happiness? There is no such contentment in the world system. People will always be on a search for happiness in the world system. True happiness will always evade people in the world system because the world system is flawed. The flaw? It's a system without G-d run by a dark angel who hates mankind and wants mankind totally destroyed.

In the world system you can be wealthy and lose it all overnight. In the world system you can be healthy and lose it all overnight. In the world system you can be happy in a family and surrounded by friends and lose it all overnight. This is why we cannot continue seeking for our happiness in this flawed system.

So what does G-d say about it? Is there another system? Is there a system where we can find true contentment? Is there a system where we can find true contentment in the midst of challenge, where we always win but also maintain the struggle to attain that keeps us vibrant living beings? I submit to you that there is indeed. It's the Kingdom system.

In the human being is an empty place reserved for the King of the Universe alone. It cannot be filled by the world system no matter how hard we try to do it. People try to fill this empty part of themselves with things, food, hobbies, professions, money, etc. But none of this shall satisfy because this place is reserved for the King alone. Only HE can fill it. And He gave us an insight into this in Matit'yahu/Matthew 6:31-34 (AMP). "Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" 

For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 

The first thing we must do to find happiness is to seek first the kingdom of G-d. We cannot enter what we cannot perceive. Unless we see this kingdom, we cannot enter it. So to see it, we must seek it.

What will we find in this kingdom? The King. You see, it is only the King Who can fill the empty place in us that is reserved for only Him. And without Him, there is no hope of true contentment.

What else will we find in this kingdom? Shabat. Rest. What is this exactly? It is the place where we rule and reign with Messiah. It is the place where we are able to cease from our labors and allow Him to take over those situations that kill, steal and destroy in our lives. It is a place of trust in Him that knows that whatever is needed, He is, and that He will watch over His Word to perform it. It is a place of knowing that whatever we need is taken care of and the labor and burden of it is no longer ours. It is that place in covenant where the Partner's abilities and possessions take over the lack in our lives.

If we can perceive that our G-d is a good G-d, and if we can perceive that His mercy and loving kindness endure forever, then what exactly will He withhold from us according to His way of doing and being right that will keep us from being happy? Nothing. T'hillim/Psalm 145:14-16 (AMP) says, "The LORD upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look expectantly to You, and You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing." 

True contentment cannot be found apart from the King. The King alone possesses the wisdom and integrity and holiness to satisfy the desire of all living things. He is THE BLESSING of Avraham. He is the ruler of the Kingdom.

You might think this sounds like heaven. Yes, it's the Kingdom of G-d. And we can enter the Kingdom if we can perceive it. But we cannot enter what we cannot see. We must seek it.

G-d gave us not only written Torah, but the Living Torah, Yeshua HaMashiach to be the Light so we can see the Kingdom to enter it. It is written, For it is we who have trusted who enter the rest..."He swore this even though his works have been in existence since the founding of the universe. Mashiakim Yehudim / Hebrews 4:3 AMP.

Yeshua prayed the model prayer and the first thing He prayed was "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Yeshua repeatedly announced that the Kingdom of G-d had arrived. And here we are 2000 years later just now beginning to perceive it's existence to see and enter.

If you want true contentment, you will find it in G-d's Kingdom alone but you can't get there without Yeshua. Seek Him. Believe Him.
