Trumpets

When we come up against our enemies, sound the alarm of the trumpets, the Lord will rescue us. Blow the trumpets in all things. The sound of the trumpets will remind God of His covenant with us. Numbers 10:9-10

Numbers 29:1-6 (KJV) says, "And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing trumpets unto you." "And ye shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the Lord; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without blemish:" "And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram," "And one tenth for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs:" "And one kid of the goats for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you:" "Beside the burnt offering of the month, and his meat offering, and the daily burnt offering, and his meat offering, and their drink offering, according unto their manner, for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord."

We need to gather together in worship and celebration, not do hard work, take a day away from our regular routine and focus on renewing ourselves to the Lord. God wants all of us not just a part. We should adjust our attitude before coming to God with our whole heart.

God told Joshua that Jericho was already his. We as Children of God fight against our enemy that has already been defeated. Jesus has already won the war for us. Children of God don’t have to fear or be defeated because Jesus has won the victory. We are overcomers through Messiah's power. Jesus will fight our battles for us. God wants to keep our faith strong so that we won't be poisoned. When we become a child of God we must not let the enemy interfere with our spiritual purpose. Joshua 6:1-27
